7 peacekeepers were killed in Darfur this week, and another 22 were wounded. When peacekeepers are attacked the direness of the state of affairs in Darfur is all too apparent. The UN peacekeeping mission needs support, and Canada can lead the world diplomatically, as we have financially, to do so.
Take action! Call 1-800-Genocide and tell Prime Minister Harper and Foreign Affairs Minister Emerson to denounce the killings and reaffirm our commitment to the UN mission. Ask Mr. Dion, Mr. Layton and Mr. Duceppe to pressure the government!
